Get to know Musician and Songwriter Patrick ‘Paddy’ Byrne
Paddy has honed his tone-led approach to chromatic and diatonic harmonica playing for over 40 years at numerous gigs and festivals. Lately he's been performing as part of the London-based jazz quintet Chromactive yet still finds time to teach and lead the occasional workshop. Paddy has been awarded UK National Harmonica League Jazz player of the year 2015 and winner of the Ken Howell Jazz memorial cup, Bristol 2015. Paddy's harmonica heroes are Toots Thielemans, Stevie Wonder and Little Walter.
